  About Us

  Coaches

  Nigel Thompson
I am one of the current founders of Elite Strength & Conditioning and the current serving club chairman.
My role at the club is lead strength and conditioning coach.
I have over 10 years experience training athletes in the field of S&C with a particular interest in combat and close contact sports.
As an athlete I competed at National level in judo for 10 years and have coached for 20 years producing cadet, junior and senior National champions.
I am an accredited UKSCA strength & conditioning coach and in 2005 attended Bath University to gain a degree in sports performance graduating in 2009.

Goals/Objectives:
To continue to grow and develop the membership creating a long term sustainable training environment helping athletes to be the best they can be. To provide links with local schools, colleges, sport clubs, and sporting academies. To enhance our current coaches educational programme giving coaches the opportunity to develop as future S&C coaches sharing their expertise with the centre which will become the back bone for our high performance centre in Norfolk.

BSc (Hons) Sports Performance 2009
Senior club Judo coach 1983
EJU Level 5 Judo coach 2009
BJA judo 4th Dan October 2007
